The Primary Nature of the School
St. Thomas More School is a Catholic Christian school that strives to make each
child’s educational experience both meaningful and productive in a compassionate
and value-based setting. At St. Thomas More School, we accomplish this goal by
utilizing a rigorous academic curriculum delivered in a nurturing setting of discipline
and respect. St. Thomas More School has successfully educated students for 49
years. Our history is one of challenging students to be their best through personal
understanding and insight.

Achievements
St. Thomas More School achieved its goal of building and moving into a new building in 2007. The building includes state of the art technology, air-conditioning and top of the line classroom amenities. Student population, activities and events have increased since moving into the new school building. In addition, the school instituted an electronic debit tuition collection system in the fall of 2005. The system streamlined tuition collection, nearly eliminated debt issues and stabilized tuition cash flow from the school to the parish.

Project Evaluation
St, Thomas More School is currently in the Middle States Commission reevaluation stage conducting a self-study and creating a strategic plan for the next three years. The self-study Designing our Future, covers all area relating to the school from transportaion to curriculum. Professional staff, school families and parish representatives are involved in this important work, which will culminate in a visit from a Middle State Commission team of peer evaluators in October of 2009. The impact of this study will be a clearly defined image for the school and a well thought out plan for growth and development for our future in addition to reaccreditation status.
